               Lara Croft eyed the gem suspiciously. She knew it was not what she had been looking for. But then she couldn't let Hera take it. Hera, the woman who convinced herself she was a god, seeking the power to prove this to the world.
            No, she couldn't let her have the gem...this was hers...

BACK IN REYNARD CITY...

*Vibes flops to the ground in pain*

Van: Vibes?

Vibes: So...many...voices...

Van: deep breaths Vibes

*Vibes gets to her feet, getting her breath back*

Vibes: So...so much...problem...focusing...

MEANWHILE...

*Lara Croft grins as a red glow envelops her body, the gem disappearing*

Lara Croft: For so long I have stored away countless treasures, items that could have granted me unlimited power! And now I will claim what should have been mine!

Lara: that power....is.....MINE!!!!

*Lara's body becomes enormously muscular, before then turning metallic*

Lara: Yes...I will retrieve the other treasures, crushing all who oppose me!

Vibes: AGH!!!

*Van catches Vibes as she flops down*

Van: Vibes what's happening?

Vibes: We...we have to move fast. Something is going very badly wrong and if
         we don't move now the universe is in trouble!

Van: Where?

Vibes: Well first of all to Rote's garage, I'll fill you in on the way!

Van: can do

*Vibes speeds toward the garage*

Vibes:...And if we don't hurry up she'll become unstoppable!

this won't be easy

*Vibes nods*

Vibes: Lara's determination combined with that kind of power is not good. 

*Rote emerges*

Rote: So...you're not thinking of bringing backup?

Vibes: If we need it we'll let you know.

Van: i hope this is a good idea

*Rote speeds off but as they do so a portal emerges*

Rote: What is that?

*Vibes and Van emerge in a desolate wasteland*

Lara (psychic connection): You thought you could stop me, vixen? You're already too late.

Vibes: Lara...you...you can't do this! This isn't you!

Lara (psychic connection): You want me? Come and get me.

Vibes: She's gaining power...and she's warped Rote who knows where.

*They look up and see an elaborate temple*

Vibes: Whoa.

Van: why always a giant dungeon hideout
