Guilt Trip

*Both Carmy and Sal struggle to move as they awkwardly serve food*

Sal: It...it's worse than I remember...

Patron: hey watch it lardo

*Another laughs*

Patron: Yeah I didn't order your gut in my face!

Carmy: Hey back off or...

*Sal shakes her head at Carmy*

Sal (aside): We're serving customers Carmy...and a tip would be nice...

Patron: Here's a tip- lose some weight!

Carmy:*mutters*

*Sal and Carmy find themselves washing an enormous line of dishes*

Sal: This was my life in New James...Oh no.

Carmy: What?

Sal: No...I can't put you through this...

Carmy: you cant do it alone

*Sal sighs*

Sal: Don't say I didn't warn you...

Carmy: how much worse can we get

*Sal holds back the tears*

Sal: I...I can't say...

*The chef empties out the tip jar*

Waitress: We'd have more tips if it wasn't for Supersize Sal and Carmalotta!

Carmy: oh shut up

*Sal takes Carmy aside*

Sal: It...it's not worth it.

Carmy: Why didn't you stand up for yourself? You're so much better than that.

Sal: I...I couldn't...At least...not then...

*They head back to Sal's apartment*

Carmy: You lived here?

Sal: Yeah.

Carmy: What happened to you?

Sal: When I emerged from the warp, my body...changed. For a while all I could remember
      was this life. But then...something else changed...

Carmy: your powers

*As Carmy says this they emerge in the city streets, surrounded by gangsters dressed in parkas*

Gangster: Give us your doughnuts, fatties!

Carmy: back off!

*The gangsters laugh*

Gangster: What are you going to do, our kid? Sit on us?

Carmelita: *curses in spanish and goes to punch one

* The gangsters laugh as she misses a punch*

Sal: Leave her alone!

*As Sal says this she turns into Wondervixen. The gangsters look round to see WV hit them.*

WV: I am Wondervixen. And these are my doughnuts.

*Carmalaga taps one gangster's back*

Gangster: What the...?

*She hurls him to the ground.*

carmy: wha!

*Carmy smiles*

Carmy: Wow...what a rush!

*Sal nods*

Sal: Yeah...it was...

*As Sal says this they speed through a cycle of dreary day job and night time crime fighting*

Carmy: Hey why is this speeding up?

*Then Carmy sees Temptress*

Carmy: Oh no...

Carmy: not this one

*Temptress laughs*

Temptress: Yes...this one!

*Carmy and Sal both start stuffing themselves with chocolate*

Temptress: Oh Sal what a naughty girl you were. The kind Carmy here would probably
              have arrested!

Carmy: can't...stop....

*Sal and Carmy are both stealing for Temptress*

Temptress: How does it feel Carmy? Your friend here was a criminal.

Carmy: This all happened because you couldn't handle being fat?

Sal: Carmy I was miserable! She was taking away the only thing that made my life
     worth living!

Carmy: still

*Sal is in shock*

Sal: Carmy you can't listen to her! She's a villain!

*Carmy turns to her*

Carmy: Sal, maybe this is what Mike was talking about...
