Lara's warped trip

*lara is out and about, looking for info on her next hunt when a man approaches*

Lara: can i help you?

Man: yes. You can *he pulls out an odd sphere, a glow emitting as lara stares* you can keep her company

Lara: what do you- agh! *lara is blinded as the sphere flashes bright, the light dying down as lara is now trapped in a massive bedroom*

* Lara looks round, hearing weird giggling*

Lara: Huh? Who's there?

* She looks round to see a woman in a yellow inflated suit*

Fun Friend: Hello new fun friend! Welcome to my home!

Lara: ...ok no. Im leaving

Fun friend: you cant do that. Youre my new friend

* Lara tries to open the door but an invisible force stops her*

Lara: What the...?

Fun friend: but if youre still gonna try. I suppose i can make you MORE fun!

* Lara's face swells up*

Lara: W...What the...?

Lara: body...feels...funny.... *her clothes morph into a red suit before she begins to swell up*

* Fun Friend laughs as Lara bounces up and down*

Fun Friend: You want to go out? Fine, I'm going to take you for a ride!

* Lara in her inflated form bounces down inflated corridors*

Lara: WHOA!

Lara: stop this!

Fun friend: no way! Were having too much fun!!!

* Lara looks horrified as she is bounced around*

Lara (thought): It's like she's controlling me!

Lara: i need help

* Lara shuts her eyes, trying to shut out the incessant giggling*

Lara: please...help...

MEANWHILE IN REYNARD CITY...

*Van and Vibes are enjoying ice cream in the park. Vibes cringes*

Vibes: Please let this be brainfreeze!

Van: who is it this time?

* Vibes listens in*

Vibes: Okay...can just about make out Lady Lara Croft and...

*Van looks nervously*

Van: And...?

Vibes: Some weird giggling. Weird giggling is rarely a good sign.

Van: ok..then guess we go to croft manor

*The pair arrive to see...Lara's not there*

Vibes: Huh?

Van: oddly quiet

*Vibes looks confused*

Vibes: That's weird, usually the portals take us where we need to...

*Vibes sees a flash in her mind of Lara's prison room*

Vibes: Whoa.

Vibes: ok...we may need to do some investigating *pulls out a magnifying glass and a deerstalker cap*

*Van looks confused*

Van: Where did you...on second thoughts I don't want to know.

Van: lets get to investigating

Van: So...what are we looking for?

Vibes: Something out of the ordinary.

Van: Sure...because I know about what ordinarily goes into an aristocrat's mansion.
