*Sticks looks around, sniffing the air*

Sticks: I just know-this is the terrifying land of the psychic superhero vixen who
          inflates when she touches caramel!

Amy Rose: OK- you've just outdone your last insane rant.

Sticks: I'M SERIOUS!

Knuckles: Wait what's this about caramel now?

Tails: *rolls his eyes* Anyways. Once we enter town, we head down 20 meters and then take a right. The crystal should be in a building.

Sonic: Read you loud and clear on that. Come on guys! *the group runs into town*

Tails: Wait! I don't think this is the kind of place to go-*sees they're out of hearing distance*-running around in the open...*follows*

MEANWHILE...

*Vibes is tailing a guard*

Vibes (thought): It's night time at the museum...I'm doing my noir voiceover in my head...
                      like...like a moody voiced moody person with a black mood ring...

(may want to make an indication that that takes place in the present day)

Fiona: *just watching from the office screens* Classic Vibes. ^^"

*Vibes looks round*

Vibes (thought): It's quiet...So quiet... Oh so still...You're all alone and so peaceful...
                      OK that's not my monologue, that's a Bjork song.

Scourge: *thought: Does she really make every job into a game?*

*Vibes speeds round behind Fiona*

Vibes: Whatcha doin'?

Fiona: Vibes! You're supposed to be...

*Vibes sighs*

Vibes: I know, watch the guards!

*Fiona raises an eyebrow*

Fiona: And you're not because...?

Vibes: It's SO boring!

Scourge: *sighs* Y'know what? How about I take your job then?

*Vibes smiles*

Vibes: Do we get cable here? If so yes!

Scourge: *heads out of the office and tails the guard* Hmph. Easy....

*Suddenly an echidna in black sneaks up on him when he's out of sight*

???: Judo Chop! *knocks him out*

Scourge: @~@ *unconscious*

???: Heh heh! Where's your all powerful net now?

*3 Days Ago*

*As the gang heads for the museum, Sonic and the gang look at all the people staring at them*

Sonic: Ok, what's with the faces?

*Amy raises an eyebrow*

Amy: Yeah...these weird creatures need to stop being so...uptight.

Sticks: What ARE these things anyways?!

Tails: I don't think that should matter right now. *AVA beeps to indicate that they've reached their location* This should be it.

*the group stops and then heads into the museum*

*Sticks beams*

Sticks: Ooh I see it! Shiny thing!

Sonic: Huh. Usually it's hard to get.

Knuckles: Like I said. I like it when it's easy. *runs over to the container*

Tails: Something about that container.....*realizes* KNUCKLES I DON'T THINK YOU CAN-!!!

Knuckles: Score one for-*breaks the container, setting off the alarm*-Team Knuckles?

*Guards emerge running out*

Tails: Uh guys...I think a tactical retreat might be necessary?

Knuckles: You mean...run away?

Tails: Yes.

Knuckles: Oh come on! We never run away from a fight. We've faced tougher enemies than this. I'm sure we can take whatever these guys throw at us!

*One of the guards fires a net that just falls over Knuckles*

Knuckles: Hmm?....*tries to punch the net but only manages to get even more tangled up in it* Hnngh!! C'mon! WHAT IS THIS DIABOLICAL THING?!?!

Amy: *facepalms*

*Tails groans*

Tails: Like I said, tactical retreat.

Sonic: Noted! *runs off*

Sticks: Come on you! *grabs an end of the net and drags the entangled Knuckles along with her*

Knuckles: Ow. Ow. Ow....Ow.....Ow....Ow....Ow.

*PRESENT DAY*

Fiona: Huh...nothing so far....and that's what's kind of bugging me.

*Vibes yawns*

Vibes: Yeah...When do the exhibits come to life?

Fiona:....THAT aside shouldn't the robbers be trying to take the crystal already?

*Vibes sighs*

Vibes: Good point.

Fiona: *calls* Van. See anything out there?

*Van shrugs*

Van: Negative. Maybe the Mayor's just being really paranoid.
