7 Continents, 7 Crystals Part 1: Welcome to The City

*Sal nods*

Sal: Yeah...there's definitely a similarity going on here. Either that or they hang out at the same conventions!

Amy: Fiona and Who now? O_o

*just then...*

Scourge: GAH!!! *both he and Sonic then spin dash into the building, still fighting it out*

*Sal sighs*

Sal: OK now this is awkward.

*the two keep fighting until they both crash into the Crystal's case*

Sonic: Ow....Ow...

Scourge: Ouch...*sees the Crystal* Ah ha! *grabs it before he can*

Sonic: Give that back!

Scourge: Heck no!

*Sal scowls at them*

Sal: Alright everyone stop!

*Both Sonic and Scourge look at Sally*

*Outside Knuckles opens an eye as Vibes carries him in*

*G flies in with Sticks jumping in through a window*

Sticks: Who said that? I could've sworn I heard a disturbance in the force.

*Sal looks round*

Sal: We have a difficult situation here- the thing is...I believe you all. You're clearly not
     bad guys. The harder question is what we do next.

Fiona: *walks in with Van* Alright what's going on here?

*Sal turns to Amy*

Sal: You seem to be the sensible one- explain.

Amy: *sighs* This is going to take a while.

Vibes: So wait these guys are good guys too?

Apparently... which stinks, cuz I never got a chance to really fight.

*Vibes sighs*

Vibes: I know.

Van: Look why don't we just head back home with the crystal so we can better explain what these people want it for?

Smart.

*Vibes nods*

Vibes: Indeed- we'll deal with the whole "mayor being narked off with us" issue later.

*Back at Vixen House..*

Alright then... start talking.

*Sal turns to Amy*

Sal: So let's start with the basics- what is this gem and why is it so important?

All I can tell about it is that it's powerful. My blood blades seemed more durable near it.

Tails: *pulls out the data files* This is the Radiant Crystal. It's one of eight powerful Chaos Crystals found on our world. They once belonged to a now extinct civilization of beings known as The Ancients. They used the power of these crystals to build technology that was far advanced for their time. But despite this they kept perfect harmony with nature.

Van: Wow...

Scourge: Talk about old.

*Vibes looks baffled*

Vibes: If they're so perfect then why are you so desperate to nick them? Surely you
         don't want to affect the balance of things?

Tails: Because of this guy. *displays a projection of...*

*Vibes gulps*

Vibes: Giant snake. Why did it have to be a giant snake?

Tails: His name is "Lyric". Unlike the other Ancients who passed away, Lyric was the only one who was able to survive due to both his technological skills and...the fact that he was frozen in prison for several thousand years. He was trying to unlock the crystals power but an accident crippled him, resulting in him building his robotic armor. Ever since then he was determined to destroy every piece of organic life and replace it with cold, metal machinery and robots. Unfortunately we sort of accidently freed him from his prison....

Sonic: But we whooped his butt and saved the day!

Tails: That too! But now he's back and he's found a way to fuse himself with the crystal's energy to make himself more powerful. We found the crystals were scattered to this universe and we suspect that he may soon figure it out as well. So we have to act fast and find the remaining seven that are here on earth.
