*Vibes sees Van*

Vibes: Van! Not you too!

*Van wobbles awkwardly. He then looks and sees that nobody else is*

Van: This...this has got to be in Vibes' head...I can feel it too...Something...or...someone...

Van: *cancels the double soul* ok...better. but what could hack so easily into Vibes's head

*A whoosing noise goes past Van*

Speed: Hey slug over here!

INSIDE SILVERFOX TOWERS...

*Sal looks up and sees Caramel Girl and Insect Girl*

CG: So you think you can take us yourself?

Sal: Look you two I don't have time for your games.

Insect Girl: You know you're not good enough for him right?

Sal and CG: Huh?

*As Sal is distracted she just manages to deflect IG's stinger with her pole*

Sal: You are so weird.

Van: *runs in after Speed, using a shadow speed boost* sounds like the bug has a crush on G

*Caramel Girl laughs*

CG: Looks like Van has decided to join the party!

OUTSIDE...

*Vibes clutches her head*

Vibes: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!

*She looks round and sees everyone looking at her*

Vibes: Oh yeah like none of you have issues!

Van: *tries to tackle speed*

*As Van goes to hit Speed, Caramel Girl blasts him with caramel*

Van: oof. cheap shot *tries to scrape it off him*

*Sal goes to hit Speed but gets stung by Insect Girl*

Sal: Oh crud.

*Sal swells up*

Sal: MUMPH!

Van: sal!

*IG grins*

IG: Can we finish them off now?

*CG groans*

CG: You know we can't. Because the next bit is coming up...

*Vibes bursts in*

Vibes: OK, where is that robot messing with my head?

CG: Ooh temper temper Vibes.

*Vibes goes to grab CG*

Vibes: STRENGTH M...

*Strength grabs and hurls Vibes to the ground. She looks up and sees the robots surrounding her*

CG: Every one of your powers in robot form. Let's see how good you are now "hero".

Van: oh crap

*Vibes scowls*

Vibes: I'm not afraid.

Steal: You should be.

*Vibes dodges Steal but then falls over, revealing Stealth poised to trip her over*

Vibes: Seriously? Are we in the playground?

*Vibes gets up but is then bowled over by Speed*

Vibes: Oof!

*She tries to get up again but Strength throws her down*

Vibes: I'm not going to let you beat...

*She goes to hit Strength again but Shield blocks her. Steal then grabs her*

Vibes: W...What the...?

*Vibes falls to her knees*

Steal: Rough luck.

*Speed ties up Vibes with a chain*

Speed: OK Caramel Girl now's your chance.

*CG grins*

CG: I wanted to wait until you and your friends were powerless.

*She hits her with a caramel blast and Vibes inflates. Psychic then grabs Wondervixen and Van*

Psychic: You will not remember this.

Strength: Now we dump them in the city.

CG: What do you mean "dump them"? Finish them!

Speed: Mega Fox's orders. He wants them all humiliated, not just AK Girl.

Psychic: Soon the city will see how their saviour is useless against us.

Strength: And then we destroy them all.

Van: *passes out*

*Some time later...*

*Vibes, Sal and Van all wake up*

All: Ooh...

*Vibes looks down to see she's blimped. Sal is still swollen and Van is still stuck*

Vibes: W...What happened?

Sal: I...I don't know. I was hoping you'd tell me.

Van: I feel like I've been hit with a truck.

*They look up and see they are in the middle of the city. People are pointing, taking pictures and so on*

Sal: Oh no.

*Sal and Van turn to Vibes*

Sal: Now would be a good time to focus and deblimp Vibes.

*Vibes shuts her eyes*

Vibes: I...I can't!

Van: hey knock it off!!

*Sal scowls angrily*

Sal: OK I can see that Insect Girl hit me with her stinger, Caramel Girl immobilised you. By the looks of things something is...oh no.

Van: What?

Sal: Something was capable of removing our memories and is hitting Vibes' focus.

Van: So what do we do?

Sal: We help her focus on deblimping and then we deal with our situation.

Van: i wouldn't think mine is all that complex really. this stuff seems hardened by now. anyways.

*Sal nods*

Sal: Good point. Anyway first thing's first.

*Sal shuts her eyes*

Sal (thought): Vibes listen to me. We need you to focus on getting back to normal.
All the other stuff can wait until later.

Vibes (thought): You...you're right.

*Vibes starts to deblimp*

Van: keep focusing V

*After a while Vibes deblimps*

Vibes: OK let's see if this works. PSYCHIC MODE!

*Vibes concentrates and Sal's swelling goes down*

Sal: Thanks.

*Sal smashes Van's caramel*

Sal: We'd better go. Not fun being part of the freak show.

*As they go off, the crowd laughs at them*

Van: this will get annoying fast

*They arrive at Anty's*

Anty: Saw you on the news.

Vibes: And you didn't think to come out for us?

Anty: I have to keep the clinic running Vibes, I had patients.

Sally: So any idea what is blocking our memories?

Anty: I've tried a psychic connection potion but it seems something quite potent
stopped me from accessing those lost memories.

Van: So you mean we have no idea what we're up against and you can't help us?

Anty: Unfortunately for the moment yes.

*Vibes, Sal and Van all clutch their heads*

Vibes, Sal and Van: AAAGH!
