Van: ...i'll help...

*Amber ponders this*

Amber: Well he's going after villains first, so we have some bait.

Rena: "...and funzoid is one of the best at tricking."

*Amber smiles*

Amber: Now just need a chat with Rote to get some kind of containment field for Mega Fox.

MEANWHILE AT THE CONSORTIUM HQ...

Acid Dragon: Mega Fox has gone rogue. As much as I approve of this new approach
                 I worry what he will do next.

Blobulite: We need to keep an eye on what he's doing...

*Slobulon eats some chicken and burps*

Warp King: "Much as I consider it to be obvious, I agree. I have been watching him all this time, and it was all due to a rogue element that appeared. Should I keep watch to see where I can pull him out should it go wrong again?"

*Acid Dragon scowls*

AD: Only as a last resort. 

*Warp King nods*

WK: Very well, I'll report back once this develops.

*He disappears into a portal*

Acid Dragon: All that power in the hands of an oaf.

Blobulite: We need him. After what happened with the Zedites we can't afford anyone
            else rebelling.

MEANWHILE...

*Warp King grins*

WK (thought): Of course...I never said anything about offering a little help to the other side!

WK (thoughts): "Especially if one such happens to be rather close..." *vanishing.*

*meanwhile.*

Rena: "...EMP...hard hitting...or dunking in water are always options but not sure if he was built against those... he wasn't built against that icing problem but who knows if he won't be prepared..."

*DV smiles*

DV: OK this might just work. I've spoken to Rote and he's going to gear us up.

Rena: "Let's hope we'll be given everything we need."

LATER...

*DV, Amber, Insect Girl, Rena and Penny are all being crammed into mech suits*

Rote: I've upped the weaponry in this, plus included some defences to prevent any 
        mental interference.

Rena: "Thanks Rote. Though I really wish you made more convenient equipment."

IG: "This suit is crampy!!!"

*Rena grabs her suit*

Rena: Just needs a little adjustment!

Rena: "let's hope this works..."

*DV nods*

DV: Funzoid is setting up the bait now.

Rena: "Right. Let's hope we're all ready for it."

LATER...

*At the train station*

Funzoid: Muhaha! I'm going to make this train station the station...FOR FUN!

MF: "The only fun you'll have is dying laughing..." *his foot stomping down on approach.*

*Funzoid gulps*

Funzoid (thought): Eep.

MF: *lifting up his arm to fire at him.*

Rena: "NOW!"

MF: "what?!"

*Rena blasts Mega Fox with an EMP*

Rena: Did it work?

*She looks and sees Mega Fox seemingly out cold.*

Amber: Is he...?

*Mega Fox rises to his feet*

MF: Reserve power activated.

DV: Uh oh.

Rena: "That means he's on auto pilot i hope..."

*Mega Fox grabs DV and throws her to the ground*

MF: It doesn't work like that.

Rena: "Sheesh!" *launching a barrage of missiles at MF as they burst, causing MF to push through the smoke and fog in glaring at Rena.*

*MF scowls*

MF: You're going to regret that.
