Damn... the game has it so we can't win! These kind of fights usually happen when... of course! It gives a second chance afterwards, but with the bosses power weakened enough to allow a win!

(or it's a set up for boss fights later on. the first boss you face in golden sun WRECKS you then they are the final boss. but the idea here is genesis and megafox set it so this is the last fight and you die during it you die.

((I was thinking more like the first Yggdrasil fight in "Tales of Symphonia". You get to it by first beating Remiel, which you have to win, then by beating Kratos, which you don't have to win, but gives you a good item if you do. Still, a game's programming always has a way to win, even though a...)) Glitch! Fi, get Van to make the game glitch!
