"That's Not The Way I Remember It"

* Vibes, Van, Lara Croft, Wonder Woman, The Flash, April O'Neill, Black Widow and Sonic are all trapped in a room, all blimped*

Vibes: Got to be honest, this is not what I planned for Friday night.

*Black Widow groaned*

Black Widow: This is messed up. How did we get here?

*Vibes laughs*

Vibes: I remember it well...

*Vibes creates a psychic vision in their minds*

Vibes (narrating): Van and I were patrolling the city....

Van: Gee Whillikers Vibes, that was a heck of a scrap back there!

Van(real): hey i don't talk like that!

*Vibes turns around*

Vibes (narrating): Next thing I know, I see some miscreants using what looked like a portal gun to 
                          raid a bank. So I did what I always do, dash in to duff them up...

Van: wait up vibes! i can't keep up with your awesomeness *runs after*

*Vibes smiles*

Vibes (narrating): I was also set to kick the crud out of these fiends when I chased through the portal...

*Vibes and Van emerge in a room full of balloons*

Van: This is spoooooky Vibes I don't like it!

Vibes: Have no fear chum I'll get us through this!

Vibes: stay behind me and i will shield us

Vibes (narrating): Next thing I know, I heard the other heroes yell out.

Wonder Woman: Won't someone please help us?

BACK IN THE ROOM...

Vibes: Next thing I know there was a big pop and I ended up here blimped with the rest of you.

*Van groans*

Van: If I could I'd be slow clapping sarcastically right now.

Vibes: oh really? how do you think it happened?

Van: well....

*earlier today*

Van: (narrating) Vibes was right about the patrol at least

Van: it's been oddly quiet today V

Vibes: yeah but we deserve a break, you handsome hero you

Vibes(real): OI!

Van(real): turnabout's fair play

Van: Moving on...

Van (narrating): So Vibes was in one of her hyperactive moods...

Van(narrating): when suddenly a portal rips open and lassos dragged us into a dark room.

Van: i dont like this vibes

Vibes: oh please. My awesomeness will- GUK! *is cut off as something small and square is flung into her mouth*

Van: next thing i know vibes is blimping and taking me with her, then it lights up and there all you are

*Lara snorts*

Van: What?

Lara: I think this one of those weird reality distorting things, because that is definitely not the way I see it.

*Vibes scowls*

Vibes: OK fine Miss Lady Croft, how did it go for you?

*Lara sighs*

Lara (narrating): I had been told about a hidden temple, one that had a strange power, causing
                        disruptions to the nature in the local area...

Lara: this could be the best adventure of mine yet

Lara (narrating): As I headed toward the temple, a strange purple energy caused my body to become
                        muscular. Little did I know it was having the opposite effect on some superbeings
                        nearby...

Van: cause you look so muscular now

*Lara glares at Van*

Lara: I'm getting to that part!

* Muscular Lara wrestles with a giant sheep*

Lara (narrating): It was an unusual experience, as it seems the temple had distorted everything
                         around it.

Lara: none the less i was able to handle it easily

*Lara sighs*

Lara (narrating): Sadly, it was only as I got closer to the temple that the distortions became...stranger...

* Lara's guns melt and twist, turning into binds*

Lara (narrating): All of a sudden, my guns turned into binds. It was then I realised that a similar thing
                         seemed to be happening to the superfolk.

Van: and thats how you got rolled into here

*Lara glares at Van*

Lara: Well yes, we were all sucked into the portals and there was nothing we could do about it.

*Wonder Woman eyes her suspiciously*

Lara: What?

Wonder Woman: I think you have a vivid imagination.

Van: hey speaking of imagination. is it just me or did we all get even bigger since we started trying to remember?
