Van: we both know i'll wipe the floor with you rodriguez

*G laughs at Van*

G: Looks like someone's being taking ego lessons.

Van: not ego when you have the power to back it up *clenches his fist

* G fires his hook gun, gripping Van*

Van: *turns super and grabs the rope* hang on *spins around while G hang onto his gun

* Van slams G to the ground*

G: OOF!

Van: I warned you.

Van: stay away from me and Vibes

*G snarls angrily*

G: I won't let you harm Sal!

Van: Come on G we know she's probably neck high in donuts right now!

G: and vibes is probably getting blimped by her stupidity

Van: shut up!

*walking through town* Hmm... I wonder what happened with Vibes and Sal... I couldn't see their souls, for some reason... ((sorry for interjecting, I'm just trying to get involved...))

*Back with Rote's labs, Rena looked on in wait for Rote's gear. Her eyes gazing at various ear pieces and wired patches.* Rena: "what're these?"

Rote: "These patches are to go to the back of the neck where all the central nerves clutter up. This sends out a dampening pulse in the cerebral cortex and hinders the changing of a person's electronic pathogens. Considering the brain functions off of different electrical pulses and patterns, I built this to prohibit the changes in those patterns from external means. The earpieces are wired to these patches along with wireless connection to my computers so I can actually monitor one's mental state."

Rena: "...Meaning you can actually stop outside forces from changing how a person thinks or feels..."

Rote: "Or end up being twisted to forcibly change those pulses and risk the wearer being left as an empty husk If done wrong."

Rena: "...and you had this for how long?"

Rote: "Since Sal first had her issues with PP long ago."

*Rena gulps*

Rena: So you could change people?

Rote: Yes.

Rena: That's pretty dangerous.

Rote: I know. Which is why the less people know about it the better.

*van and G keep fighting*

Rena: "...At least it's in your hands...and not anyone else's."

Rote: "Exactly why I kept it a secret from everyone...and you have to also."

Rena: "what?"

Rote: "Just tell them it's a hypnosis dampener. The reason I built this was in case things went too far."

Rena: "..."

"...Could be a good way to stop vibes and sal from bickering."
"...Too abusive..."
" Rena...you've tried it your way .. i've tried it my way ... they're coming to from it bit by bit but it's not fast enough with what's going on."
" But that means I'm afraid of them never being able to work together..."
"No one else has to know..."
"What about you?"
"We both know what I would do..."

Rote: "Rena?"

Rena: "I got it. I won't say a thing."

*Louis realises something's wrong*

Louis (thought): I'd better speak to Dr Anty, it's like something's infecting them!

((Alright...)) *heads to Anty's*

*Rena was coming out of the building where Anty and Rote's workstations would be before bumping into Louis.*

Rena: "Oh sorry...just passing through to help vibes and sal."

You have a way to help them? It feels like an infection to me, and it's keeping me from seeing their souls.

Rena: "I'm treating it as a mind control. Rote gave me some hypnosis dampeners for it."

MEANWHILE...

*Fiona looks out and sees Vibes slamming into Sal*

Fiona: Whoa guys what's going on?

Vibes: Fi relax I've got this!

Sally: oh no you don't

*Fi stretches, gripping the two of them*

Fi: OK you two are going to both calm down and talk like grown ups. We've had enough
    superheroes fighting each other lately.
