The Food of The Gods

According to legend it was Prometheus who endangered humanity by stealing fire from the Gods, while the curiosity of Pandora unleashed evil and suffering when she opened her box. These tales were passed down the generations of Paradise Island. But not all accepted them as gospel truth...


*Jessica, an Amazon oddly dressed in a white coat and glasses appeals to the Queen*

Jessica: My machine could allow contact with other dimensions your majesty.

Queen H: While we applaud your enthusiasm Jessica this is potentially very dangerous.

Jessica: I have done all the calculations your majesty, allow me to demonstrate...

*As Jessica switches on the machine, the crowd of Amazonians dives away from the blasts of purple energy. From the blast emerges Vibes, Sal, Amber and Fiona*

Vibes: OK...what just happened?

Amber: ok who interrupted my date!

*Sal looks round*

Sal: Um...I don't think we're in Reynard City anymore.

*Vibes nods at the angry looking Amazonians around them*

Vibes: Yeah...and they don't look that happy to see us!

Amber: .......uh.....sorry for yelling

*They all point spears*

Vibes: This'd be a good time for Wonder Woman to show up...

*WW literally flies in*

WW: Sisters! Leave these creatures alone!

Vibes: Perfect timing.

Amazon Sister: Jessica summoned these foul looking creatures! She must be banished!

WW: Before you judge their appearance you should know they are heroes who have saved the lives of myself and many others.

Vibes: Yeah! Recognise!

Amber: Not helping!

Amber: let's just let bygones be bygones and not kill anyone please

*Queen H signals them to put their spears down*

Queen H: Diana has told me of your deeds. However I do concede Jessica should not be
            experimenting with mystical energy.

Vibes: Uh she made a mistake. It happens.

*Amber puts her hand over Vibes' mouth*

Amber: Shut...up.

Fiona: just ignore her

*Jessica scowls*

Jessica: You do not realise the possibility of the power you have here!

Queen H: No we are very aware. You were fortunate this time. But we cannot risk further
             incidents. You are to be banished from Paradise Island and will be allowed to
             return when you have redeemed yourself.

WW: Mother I will supervise her and ensure her rehabilitation so she can return.

Queen H: Very well.

Vibes (thought): OK this is going better than I thought. Save for the
                       being in the middle of nowhere thing.

Jessica: you can't do this!

*Queen H looks down her*

Queen H: You have 24 hours to vacate the island. Diana, see to it that our visitors are 
            properly looked after.

Diana: With all due respect Mother I feel Jessica should be....

Queen H: We will ensure she is properly supervised...We and many others owe a debt of
            gratitude to our visitors.

Amber: heh....thanks

Later...

*Vibes and the others are enjoying a luxury dinner*

Vibes: Finally a little respect!

*Vibes looks and sees Sal's worried face*

Vibes: Sal...maybe you can enjoy the moment for once?

Sal: Something doesn't seem right...


MEANWHILE...

*Two guards enter Jessica's lab*

Guard 1: What in the name of Hera is this?

Jessica: This is my lab. And you know what? I don't need you to escort me.
          I'll be leaving the island myself.

Guard 2: Good riddance.

Jessica: You're going to regret saying that.

Guard 1: A tiny shrimp like you?

Jessica: Size isn't everything...and you're about to find that out. You see I know
           your little secret. Why you're all so powerful.

Guard 2: You wouldn't dare...

Jessica: Steal ambrosia, the food of the Gods? I already have. And what's more...

*Jessica blasts the guards with it, making them instantly inflate*

Jessica: I know how to change the recipe!

Amber: *gets a chill* i have a bad feeling

*Sal nods*

Sal: I think we should do a bit of investigating...

Amber: But what about...?

Sal: I think Vibes will be enough of a diversion!

Amber: true

*As Vibes impresses the table with her psychic tricks, Fiona winks as she sees Amber and Sal slink off*

MEANWHILE...

*Jessica leaves Paradise Island on an improvised hovercraft*

Jessica (thought): Those poor fools will soon realise the mistake they made. I will
                        change the world and there is nothing they can do to stop me!

Amber: *finds the lab* whoa

*Sal looks round*

Sal: A combination of technology and mystical energy...I can see why the Amazonians are nervous.

*They look up and see the two inflated guards*

Amber: Yup...Definitely right to be nervous.

Fiona: we have to warn them

(Fi is with Vibes!)

*Sal looks scared*

Sal: I think we're already too late.

IN GOTHAM CITY...

*A group of villains gather as Jessica arrives*

Jessica: How would you all like the power of gods?

Ivy: and how would we obtain this power?

*Jessica reveals some red pills*

Jessica: This...is an enhanced version of the fuel of the Gods.

*There is a pause...before everyone cracks up laughing*

Poison Ivy: No really what is it?

Jessica: I'm serious. I came from Paradise Island, stole the Ambrosia from the Amazons
          and changed the formula. I can use it to both positive and negative effect.

*There is a pause...and more laughter*

Angle Man: This is a waste of our time.

Jessica: Oh ye of little faith...I see a demonstration is in order...

Ivy: there is no way you could have made that

*Jessica grabs Harley Quinn*

Jessica: Open wide.

Harley: I don't wanna...GULP!

*As Jessica shoves the pill into her mouth, Harley begins to grow muscular*
