*They arrive in Emerald City. As they enter, Van's giant head looms over them*

*Van scowls*

Sal: *tugs a curtain*

*Vibes looks round as the curtain reveals Van in a booth with a mike. He turns and sees everyone*

Van: Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!

*Vibes sighs*

Vibes: So...you're a con artist.

Van: Well...yeah. But people believed I was a real wizard and I ran with it.

Van: and i know some things

*Romana scowled*

Romana: So you can't give us the cool stuff we want?

*He pulls out a copy of Respect: The Best of Soul on CD*

Van: There you go.

Vibes: really?

Van: well if she meant the literal ine shes already had one. Shes got emotions, sense of self, and the like

*Van turns to the others*

Van: Yeah, anything I give you is a symbol of what you already had. Now I've been working on this hot air balloon, room enough
for you and your dog if you want to go home.

*Vibes smiles*

*She goes to jump in but as she does so accidentally knocks it and Van floats off.*

Vibes: Dang it!

*The others try to help her clamber but Van floats away*

Van: I'm sorry!

Vibes: always happens in the dang...story....wait....i know how this ends...

*Vibes scowls*

Vibes: Shiny bubble witch lady, get your butt out here!

*Sal sighs as she emerges from a bubble*

Sal: How can I help?

Vibes; So... how do I get home?

Vibes: Seriously? All we just did and I could have done that straight off.

Vibes: Oh ok.

* Vibes wakes up with the book over her face, with Pink Floyd playing in the background*
