*Sal looks concerned*

Sal: It's more than that. It's an addiction. Something's not right.

*She gets on the phone*

Sal: Carmy? We need your help? W...What do you mean rioting?

*Carmy is on the other side of the city*

Carmy: They just brought out merchandise for this movie, there's riots to get
hold of some crappy dolls, you've got to get down here!

Jason: you guys headed out?

Guess so. This is such a bother… I'm bringing earplugs just in case they start singing… only good musicals I've seen are Rent and Les Mis.

*Sal flies off*

Sal: OK hopefully Van and Vibes will be out of the cinema by now.

MEANWHILE...

*Vibes and Van emerge out into the sun*

Vibes: Stupid overly bright sun.

Van: this is irritating. we gotta get the merchandise.

*follows Sal on foot*

*Vibes nods*

Vibes: Heck yeah! We need everything. And spares so we have ones we can keep in the box.

*They look up and see a new story that says "Merchandise shortage"*

Vibes: We've got to move. Sp...Sp...

*Van looks at Vibes as she clutches her head. She starts singing*

Van: Oh come on I want to get to the merch store!

Vibes: It...it's no use! The song is in my head and it's stopping me focusing!

Van: dang it

*Vibes' stomach gurgles*

Vibes: Probably shouldn't have had the nacho hot dog combo either.

Van: i heard there are collector's cups at the burger shack.

*Vibes grins*

Vibes: Cool let's go there!

MEANWHILE...

*Sal is struggling to break up rioters*

Sal: Oh come on! These are just bits of plastic you morons!

*The rioters charge at her*

Rioter: Unbeliever!

*Sal sighs as they bundle towards her*

Sal: I hate my job sometimes.

Jason: *blasts nets over them to limit how many are attacking* i'm gonna run out of nets at this rate

*Sal nods*

Sal: I swear this crowd is getting bigger every minute!

Jason: this is ridiculous!

I agree! Can't I just shock them a bit so they stop attacking long enough to bind them? Just a little shocking?

Jason: carm is doing that with her shock pistol and i'm just tying them up with nets. they're growing faster than we can take them out

So let me help! A few volts of lighting magic will have them twitching long enough to bind!

Jason: you can't control how much voltage goes into that

*Sal ponders this*

Sal: Does anyone have anything that can knock them out?

MEANWHILE...

*Van and Vibes are lurching awkwardly, weighed down by junk food and bags full of merch*

Vibes: I...I think there is something we're supposed to do...

Van: Yeah...Something before we watched the film...

i think we were supposed to get tickets for the next showing......

*Vibes beams*

Vibes: Ooh got free showings on my reward card! Bargain!
