Mobile Games can really suck you in

*as Vibes and sally are finishing up the last bit of work for the day their phones cling*

Vibes: huh? email?

Sally: some new mobile game apparently. not happening

Vibes: oh come on. we can use the fun. just a quick test ok?

Sally: no way. it's probably a virus

Vibes: not like we use our phones for personal stuff anyways with Megafox as an enemy.

Sally: ....fine. one or 2 games on it

*the 2 start downloading the game*

*Vibes grins*

Vibes (thought): This looks so cool!

*Sal groans*

Sal (thought): This looks so stupid. Still, if it will keep her quiet for a bit...

Vibes: ok. register with you and....

*the 2 are taken to a puzzle game screen before it flashes purple, the vixens' eyes turning the same color briefly*

Sally: this looks awesome!

Vibes: yeah!

*Vibes and Sal grin enthusiastically as they play the game*

*the bar at the side labeled "special prize" slowly fills as the girls progessively get more obsessed with the game over the next few days*

Van: you guys notice anything off about Vibes and Sal?

* Fiona nods*

Fiona: Well Vibes being "off" is pretty usual. But Sal seemed a bit distracted at the office today.

Lilith: we should keep an eye on them

*Fiona nods*

Fiona: Yeah...we kind of need them on form.

Van: *looks at the 2*

* Vibes and Sal both look at the screens intently*

Vibes (thought): Got to stay focused...got to get the prize...

Vibes: *fixes her belt as they beat a boss, the bar half way to full as her vision of the world in her peripheral blurs*

*Vibes groans*

Vibes (thought): Eyes...going...fuzzy...can't worry about that...

Vibes: game still clear *munches on a snack*

Sally: *groans as her shirt pulls a bit tight* come on. me and vibes almost got the super prize. but stupid work is getting in the way......maybe work can wait. just a bit longer at least.

*Fiona is waving her hand in Vibes' face*

Fiona: Vibes? Vibes?

Vibes: *grunts annoyed*

*Fiona looks concerned*

Fiona: Vibes? Vibes? It's time for lunch?

*Vibes doesn't react*

Fiona: OK now I know this is bad.

Vibes: just a few more rounds

*Fiona tries to physically drag Vibes away*

Vibes: NO! i just need one more game!

*Fiona is stretched away as Vibes refuses to let go*

Fiona: Vibes come on!

*Fiona groans*

*she finally manages to pry vibes away as Van and Lilith do the same to sally*

Van: you 2 need a break

Sally: break? but we're so close....

Lilith: just some lunch ok?
