*Slams her foot down, smashing it*

Vibes: Thanks!

Amber: no problem. *suddenly a bolt of warp energy hits Amber* oof! *she gets knocked down*

Van: amber! *rushes over*

Amber: *shakes her head* i'm ok...i think....i feel kinda funny actually.....

*Vibes looks baffled*

Vibes: Amber? W...What just happened?

Amber: *gets up a bit unsteady* i don- *she burps and flames shoot out of her mouth* whoa! *she looks at her hands and they light on fire* no way! i'm a pyrokinetic!

*Vibes pats herself down*

Vibes: Part of me thinks that's cool. The other part of me is freaked out you can belch fire.

DV: Something very weird is going on. Starting to wonder...

Vibes: What do you mean?

DV: Was that really Omega's gauntlet?

Vibes: You don't mean...?

DV: This could be a setup.

Amber: that was genuine warp energy that hit me and it was his real gauntlet. ripped it off his arm myself

Van: well warp energy can mutate some people and give them powers. that happened to Fi right?

Amber: maybe Omega has a spare one now that i'm thinking about it

*Vibes nods*

Vibes: Happened to Sal and G too. Though it's not really "mutating".

Van: So there's no problem.

Vibes: I didn't say that.

Amber: I thought we were cool.

Vibes: It's not that I don't trust you, just that something weird is going on and you seem to be involved, whether you know it or not.

Amber: i won't do anything bad. i promise

*Vibes smiles*

Vibes: Again, not saying that. But first up we need to make sure you don't accidentally burn our house down.

Amber: oh please. i can control this *puts her hand on a metal pole which then melts* ok...so i need some practice

*Vibes smiles*

Vibes: Now this is what I can do!

Van: You can teach her?

Vibes: Focus power every day, remember?

Van: Amber just remember that if she gets too annoying just shoot a caramel in her mouth

*Vibes laugh*

Vibes: Oi! Cheeky!

Amber: i'll remember it.  

*Vibes takes Amber aside*

Vibes: Let's get started...somewhere away from residents and what have you.

Amber: good idea V

*They head out to an empty car park near the woods*

Vibes: OK this is the emptiest place I could think of.

Amber: awesome. let's get started

*Vibes smiles*

Vibes: OK what you need to do is concentrate on a target and
think about aiming at it.

Amber: *aims at a spot and fires a blast*

*The blast is accurate but is so big it singes Vibes' hair*

Vibes: Not bad. Try and get the blast smaller this time!

Amber: right *shoots the blast again but smaller*

*The blast perfectly rips a leaf from the tree*

Vibes: Nice!

Amber: this is too cool.
