Operation Ambush

*Carmy arrives at a jewellery store, finding a smashed wall and the security guards look enormously swollen*

Carmy: What happened here?

Guard: MUMPH!

Carmy: OK I think I may have to check the security tapes.

Carmy: *heads to the security console* what thieves could have done this

*Carmy looks at the tapes, seeing ordinary looking bank robbers*

Carmy: This doesn't make sense...they just look like regular, balaclava disguised robbers.

*She looks and sees them use small pyramid-like devices, causing the guards to swell up*

Carmy: OK even for around here this is messed up.

Carmy: better get the others

*Carmy calls Sal*

Carmy: Sal, we have a major situation. We need to get everyone together.

Sal (on phone): What's happening?

Carmy: Something big.

Carmy: ....no pun intended

Sometime later at Vixen House...

*Carmy shows them the tape*

Carmy: So we need to be careful. Whoever's doing this wants to catch us out.

Vibes: But how are we supposed to know what bad guys have these...doohickeys?

Penny: That's the point...we don't.

Van: oh crap

*Sal nods*

Sal: All we can do is be careful. Approach any attacks carefully and no going off alone.

*Everyone looks at Vibes*

Vibes: What?

Van: well you do have a tendency to.....

Sal:... Throw yourself into dangerous situations and needlessly showboat?

Vibes: Say it, don't spray it.

Van: she's not wrong Vibes

*Vibes sighs*

Vibes: Fine, we'll do it your boring way!

*the news kicks on about a robbery down town*

*Sal turns to Carmy*

Sal: OK who do we bring along for this first one?

MEANWHILE...

*Genesis is watching from a camera*

Genesis: What better way to announce my return...then by humiliating these "heroes"!

Genesis: they will be helpless to my new devices

DOWNTOWN...

*Carmy, Sal and Penny are downtown*

Carmy: Don't you think you're being harsh on Vibes?

Sal: She needs to learn!

Carmy: ......you know she isn't gonna stay where we told her

*Sal sighs*

Penny: *hears alarm bells* there it is

*Sal nods*

Sal: Remember, keep calm, stay stealthy.

Carmy: right *sneaks in*

*Sal looks round*
