Warped Worlds Pt 2: The Brave and The Bowled Over!

*Warp King giggles as Lara and Cheetara emerge on what looks like a pleasant city main street*

Warp King: Your task is to go from one end of the street to the other.

*Lara laughs*

Lara: Seriously? That's it?

*Warp King smiles*

WK: Yup.

MEANWHILE...

*Vibes gulps*

Vibes: Oh boy, Lara has just put them right in it!

Van: this won't go well

*Lara smiles confidently, while Cheetara seems more hesitant*

Lara: What?

Cheetara: Don't you think we're being set up for something.

Lara: If we are let's not wait around to find out!

*Lara goes to take a step. As she does her leg suddenly turns flabby*

Lara: What the...?

*Cheetara tries to run but her arms and legs also turn flabby*

Cheetara: I'm...so...slow...

Um… you do realize I have no powers or skills whatsoever, other than the power armor I was given?

Lara: *tries to waddle down the path*

*WK giggles*

WK: I don't care. This is Warped World, you will get your turn with a randomly chosen
     partner soon enough.

Then it isn't fair to whoever I'm paired with. And what happens to the teams that fail the challenge?

*Suddenly the main street seems to get longer and longer*

Cheetara: Is...it...just me or...

Lara: Yes. The street just got a lot longer.

(louis warp king doesn't care about fair.)

Lara: just keep moving

*Cheetara groans*

Cheetara: But...it's...hard...

*As they look up they see the street is full of cafes, restaurants and food vendors*

Lara: Got...to...fight...it...

Cheetara: but so..hungry

*Warp King grins*

WK: Ah... so many tasty treats.

*He turns to Louis*

WK: If you fail...well you'll be stuck in my little warp dimension until someone succeeds.
     And even then...it depends on if you're good.

Lara: *waddles past a vendor and stops, smelling the junk food

*The vendor smiles*

Vendor: It's free day today! Help yourselves to as much as you like!

Cheetara: foood

*The vendor grins*

Vendor: Mmm...just let that smell waft over you...

Lara: must...resist....

*Cheetara shuts her eyes*

Cheetara: But...food...good...

Lara: foooood

*They tear into the hotdogs, wolfing them down*

MEANWHILE...

*Vibes looks on in horror*

Vibes: Oh no, I've seen that look before...

Well, looks like their done.

*Vibes sighs*

Vibes: Give them a chance...it's a challenge for a reason.

*Lara and Cheetara both balloon up*

Lara: So...big...

Cheetara: Oooh...I don't feel so good...

Lara: sooooo hungry

*Vibes looks horrified*

Vibes: They've been super ballooned!
