Everything Changes Pt 1- Rubber Croft

IN A TEMPLE...

* Lara looks in horror at her stretched arm*

Lara: W...what's happening to me?

MEANWHILE IN REYNARD CITY...

*Vibes and Fiona are chasing after a getaway car*

Vibes: Come on Fi, keep up!

* Fi stretches out...but as she does so she grips Vibes*

Vibes: Fi what are you doing?

Fi: I...I don't know!

Fiona: It's like my powers are on fritz....but at the same time they're not?

Van: *catches up* what's up with your arm Fi?

*Vibes finally untangles herself...and then gets slapped away*

Vibes: That thing's going Evil Dead on us!

Van: keep away from it!

Fiona: HELP ME!! DX

*Vibes grabs Fi*

Vibes: PSYCHIC MODE!

*As she grabs Fi, she tries to focus. But as she does so Vibes is violently flung
backwards*

Van: V! *catches her*

*Fi clutches herself*

Fi: Vibes? What happened?

Vibes: Some kind of psychic shock...like I just put a fork in a socket!

Van: you gonna be ok?

*Vibes clutches her head*

Vibes: Something's wrong...

Van: But....the mega caramel is destroyed. Everything's normal.

Vibes: Except it isn't. All across dimensions there's a wave of wrongness...


MEANWHILE...

*Lara recounts what happened to her butler Winston*

Lara: It...it's like my body was...rubber.

Winston: I feared this would happen ma'am.

Lara: What?

Winston: I think your exertions are catching up with you.

Lara: You think I'm crazy.

Winston: I didn't say that...however a rest may be advisable...

*back with us* we gotta go through dimensions then. lara first

*Vibes nods*

Vibes: There's some kind of source of this kookiness. We need to be careful as whatever
it is clearly affects us too!

Van: right

MEANWHILE...


*Lara is in her bedroom in the mansion*

Lara (thought): I'm a grown woman. Why am I being sent to my room like a naughty schoolgirl?

*her arm seems shinier*

*Lara notices her body start to bulge*

Lara: Now I'm...bloated? This is all I need!

*Lara inflates. Within seconds she has filled the room*

Lara: WINSTON!

*Winston rushes in (Well relatively for an old man)*

Winston: LARA!

*He looks and sees she's normal, albeit puffing out her cheeks*

Winston: I fear your delusions are getting worse.

*Back home*

Fiona: Doc, what's happening to me?

*Anty ponders this*

Anty: It's not just you.

Fi: What do you mean?

Anty: Rote did a scan- it appears something is affecting Vibes and Van as well.

Van: great

*Vibes groans*

Vibes: So...any idea what this actually is?

*Anty tries to think*

Anty: There is one possibility we discussed.

Van: What?

Anty: When the caramel, mirage mirrors and red kryptonite merged the process must have changed them.
Somehow it would appear fragments of each of these have changed somehow and means their
influence is still having an effect.

Vibes: But where are they? And how would we know what they look like?

Anty: Trust me, you'll know.

Van: should we get the old gang back together?

*Anty shakes his head*

Anty: That would be a bad idea- from what I can see the energy increases with more
of you together. Therefore it is better to do this one at a time as much as possible.

Van: right. so who first?

*Anty looks up a report*

Anty: According to Rote's report we're getting some major activity in an area just outside London.

Vibes: Oh cool...Is it Ealing Studios?

Anty: It's not Ealing Studios Vibes. It's Croft Manor.

Vibes: You mean...?

Anty: Yes. Where Lara Croft lives.
