THAT NIGHT...

*Vibes is asleep. She starts to dream that there is a big parade with signs saying "We love AK Girl" and "AK Girl is the best"*

Vibes: Finally the recognition I deserve!

*Out of the crowd she sees Carmy and Sly in their superhero costumes*

Vibes: What the...?

Carmy: Hey everyone! AK Girl is a useless idiot.

Sly: We're the real deal!

Vibes: W...What are you doing?

*Vibes' body starts to melt. The audience around them laugh*

Vibes: H...help me!

*Sly moulds Vibes into a ball. Sly and Carmy bounce her up and down*

Vibes: NO!

*Vibes wakes up, her head pounding*

Vibes: W...What's going on?

Van: *is asleep on the couch* Carm....sly....what happened to you...

THE NEXT MORNING...

*Vibes struggles to get to the kitchen. As she arrives she sees Sal looking worse for wear as well*

Vibes: S...Sal?

Sal: Sorry Vibes not in the mood. Bad night's sleep.

Vibes: Did you have a nightmare about Carmy and Sly too?

Sal: How did you know?

Vibes: Because I had the same one.

Sal: Did they interrupt that one you have about the city giving you a parade?

Vibes: How do you know about that?

Sal: You even boast in your sleep!

Van: man i couldn't sleep last night

*Vibes yawns*

Vibes: Let me guess- You were trying to fight a monster, you failed and then Sly and
Carmy came, did the job for you and made fun of you for being a weakling?

Van: yeah but right before they got there my powers shorted out

*Vibes looks nervous*

Vibes: We'd better find Carmy and Sly. Better make sure this isn't some weird
manipulation by Anti AK or something.

Van: if it was i'm pretty sure you'd have been a blimp in a parade instead of had a parade in your honor

*Vibes ponders this*

Vibes: Good point. We'd better hurry.

*Vibes clutches her head*

Vibes: Robbery in progress. We'd better move out.

Van: right

*As Vibes speeds towards the robbery she seems worried*

Sal: What's up?

Vibes: I...I feel a bit...slower.

Sal: You didn't sleep. Try not to worry about it.

Vibes: Yeah...you're right.

Van: i'm feeling a bit off too

*As they arrive they see Carmy and Sly grinning smugly as they tie up the robbers together*

Vibes: W...What the...?

Carmy: Oh hi Vibes. We thought you'd have got here by now!

*A crowd laughs at her*

Vibes: Am...Am I dreaming right now?

*The crowd laughs again*

Van: what the? how did they do that?

*Vibes looks confused*

Vibes: I...I don't know. Let's get out of here!

*Vibes' feet swell to an enormous size. She then falls over*

*Vibes looks and sees the red glow on Carmy and Sly*

Vibes: Something very weird is happening.

*Sal's weight balloons*

Sal: No! Not now!

Van: sal!

*The crowd laugh*

Vibes: Carmy, Sly, help us!

*Carmy and Sly laugh*

Carmy: Sure we'll help you!

*They zap Van, Sal and Vibes, causing them to float*

Vibes: W...What are you doing?

Sly: Stay out of our way Super Idiots!

Sal: Sly listen to yourself! This isn't you!

Carmy: Shut it Tubby!

Van: you guys need to snap out of it!

*Sly stretches Van's body and ties him around Vibes*

Sly: Take the hint Stretch...stay out of our way!

Van: *struggles* ah crap

*Slowly Van, Vibes and Sal float away*

Sal: W...Why are they doing this?

Vibes: That...that red glow. Whatever it is it's made them...jerks.

Van: no duh. but how down we get back to normal
