Lara Croft: The Warp Rescue

* Lara is in her bedroom in Croft Manor. As she wakes up, she looks round, the bed seemingly becoming massive, then tiny, then on the ceiling*

Lara: I...I must still be dreaming...

*She looks and sees the room returned to normal*

ELSEWHERE...

*Vibes, Sal, Van and the other heroes are trapped in pink bubbles in the warp dimension*

Vibes: W...What the heck?

*Warp King appears, clicking his finger to reveal a screen that shows Lara*

Warp King: Hello my friends, you're just in time for the show!

Van: oh what is it now warp king?

*Warp King grins*

Warp King: You see, each time one of these crossovers happen you seem to bail them out. This time
around I want to see how someone handles this solo.

*Vibes raises an eyebrow*

Vibes: So why are you messing about with her mansion?

*Warp King laughs*

Warp King: Oh that's just because it's funny.

MEANWHILE...

*Lara is looking at herself in the mirror. Winston comes in with a tray*

Winston: Is something the matter, ma'am?

Lara: Do these shorts make my butt look big?

Winston: No ma'am.

Lara: Cool.

Winston: Your giant inflated butt makes your butt look big.

*Lara turns around to see her butt massively inflate*

Lara: WHAT THE...?

Lara: what is happening!

*Laughter echoes around her*

Lara: Stop it! Where is all that laughing coming from?

*she tries to run*

*As she runs it gets bigger and bigger*

Lara: STOP IT!

*she gets stuck in the doorway*

*Vibes scowls*

Vibes: Hey, stop torturing her!

*Warp King laughs*

Warp King: You're right, time for our friend here to visit Warp Castle!

*she manages to get through*

* Lara returns to normal, standing outside a pink castle*

Lara (thought): Something very weird is going on.

Warp King: weird is my specialty my dear

*Lara gulps as she sees Warp King appear over her*

Lara: Uh oh.

Warp King: If you want to return to normality, you need to find the Dream Stone inside the castle.

Warp King: oh and save the heroes

*Lara looks horrified*

Lara: You can't be serious.

*Warp King appears with Groucho glasses, a fake arrow through the head and a rubber chicken*

Warp King: That's what my therapist tells me.

Lara: .....I'm going mad

*Warp King disappears, leaving Lara nervously heading toward the castle*

Lara (thought): I don't like this...

*Lara slowly opens the castle door, as a purple portal sucks her in*

Lara: WHOA!

*Lara emerges in a world of garishly coloured platforms, with flying monkeys in tuxedos throwing banana peels*

Lara: what the blazes?

*Lara jumps and climbs up the platforms, but then slides as she trips on a banana peel*

Lara: WHOA!

*she slides straight through a door*

* As she slides through the door, she goes through another purple portal*

MEANWHILE...

*Vibes gulps as she sees her do this*

Vibes: I don't like where this is going.

Van: stage 1 I guess

* Lara emerges in a large boxing ring. She looks down to see she's in an inflated red costume wearing inflated red gloves*

Lara: Huh?

*Before she knows what's going on, a robot with similar sized gloves punches her, sending her to the ropes*

Lara: OOF!

*the robot socks her into the other end of the ring*

*Lara tries to get up, but her suit seems to get bigger*

Lara (thought): Ugh, how can this balloon suit be so...heavy?
